So I have this thing.... I HATE. (make that a double hate) ... Grocery shopping. It is most definitely a quality I get from mi madre. I just dislike it alot. Jor-hay and I have been married 4 months (exactly July 2nd) and would you like to know how many times I've been grocery shopping?? FOUR. That is a 4 times. Tht is once a month if you need me to make that any more clear. It's not like me and Jorgio starve....I make dinner on a regular basis! Alright.. so my husband won't say I'm a big fat liar....I've been good at cooking dinner regularly except for in the last two weeks. I thought I could get away with an empty fridge......butt the actual emptiness of each and every shelf can't be hidden (insert image of sad empty fridge...i'm too embarrassed to actually show you mine).....I do have condiments though! 5 bottles of Hines Ketchup in fact. If we could count condiments as REAL food i'd have a great fridge....but the idea of that doesn't always sell =)
So now on a night when my Hubby leaves me to go and get his basketball on, I actually have an oppurtunity (blogspot needs a spellcheck) to get some grocery shopping, but i am GLUED to the couch, because there are dishes to be put away and Sex and The City (a show I know mi madre wouldn't approve of me watching, yet I can't find the clicker so it's staying on) is on the telly.
So.... I'll make it to the grocery store tomorrow. Hopefully..... :)

ReplyDeleteHAHAhahaha......I CANNOT believe you have only been grocery shopping four times in four months! I've been four times in the last 2 weeks! hahaha. Not saying that I am a better wife than you WHATSOEVER because I definitely am not. I just don't know how you bulk shop like that! It sounds more to me like you are an amazing shopper to be able to only have been there four times in four months! hahaha Love you girl!
