Royal Hullaballooo

The Royals have landed...... in Hollywood....  and its all over my stinking computer news.....

I have grown bored of all the Royalty shenanigans.  Although I do think Princess Kate is loooovely.  If I had her stylist Jorge probably wouldn't be soooo embarrased of my closet....alright no probably about it he'd be loving it and treatin me like a QUEEN.  :) (which he already does...so i'll just stick to my closet for now)

Let's just admit it...the girls got Swag.

Anywho....

With Kate and William being soooo close to me (only a whole 2 states away) is making me feel nostolgic.  Taking me back....

The day was  April 29th, 2011.

My madre had informed me that she was my age when Princess Diana and Prince cheated on Diana, got married.

Check out those sleeves.

Mamma was 20 or so and she remembers waking up the middle of the night adnd watching the wedding....talk about historical....a "Royal Fairy Tale" they called it! I thought to myself:

UMMMMMM... wanna do that!

So i did my research.  Entermtainment Weekly was nice enough to inform me that coverage of the Royal wedding would start at 2 AM.  Schweeeet!  I would Wake up after probably 2 hours of sleep, watch the wedding for like an hour or so and get back in bed and FORCE Jorgio to cuddle with me.

My alarm was set for 2 AM. I guess I didn't even hear it because at 3 AM I woke up in such a frenzy!  I was f r e a k i n g out.  Jorge didn't even budge.  I thought for sure I had missed the wedding!  I turn on the T.V. (which I set to the correct channel the night before to avoid any lost clicker situations)

I was SAVED!  The wedding hadn't started yet.  In fact the Princess hadn't even arrived at the Cathedral yet...IN FACT stinking Prince William hadn't even gotten to the Cathedral yet.  What in the HECK were these Royals taking their sweet precious time doing! I thought for sure it wouldn't be long though.....How long could it take for them to drive down the street and get to this old building??

About an hour later I hear Barbara Walters say...."we are about 45 minutes away from the wedding!"  fml.
So I waited.  I think I was pulled in by all the cool hats or something.  But finally...FINALLY.  Princess Kate arrives at the Old building!  Halleluijah.

Let's get this ball on the roll...

Too bad it took her 30 freaking minutes to get down that aisle!  How long was that thing...and how slow was she walking??  (side note: beautiful music.  those little boys sound like girls.      in a good way.)

It's about 5 AM at this point.  So the weddings over....coverage is over....story is over....right?? Nooo!  those stinkin Britians. Now all i'm hearing Barbara talk about is how momentous this "First Kiss" is that the Royal Couple shares!  It's gonna be like 10 minutes and then they'll kiss right??
About 10 minutes later I hear Barbara Walters say...."we are about 40 minutes away from the "Kiss!"  wtf.

At this Point I have been up for 3 hours to watch this whole thingy... there is no way in Hell, Michigan that I am missing this kiss!  A Fairy Tale is not complete without it's kiss.

So I wait.  and Finally...FINALLY. they get on that balcony and kiss.
and not only that....they kissed TWICE!

I was pretty happy at this point...I figured I had stayed awake for 4 hours in the wee hours of the morning...the least the royal couple could give me was 2 kisses.  I was pleased.  Seeing the kisses made it all worth it.  I was reminded of how wonderful weddings are and how happy I was when I finally got to spend FOREVER with my sweetie, Jorgie.  It was 7 am at this point and "The Royal Fairy Tale" was over and I was apart of their history. kinda. ha

So then I turned off the t.v. and scurried off to my bed...

to force my own Prince Jorgie to cuddle with me :)

Got no Sleep and Totally worth it.

Water Babies!

If you could spend a summer day with this:

You'd be doggin out of work early too!

I also got to get some swimmin time with this:

They haven't discovered that whole "Smile" thing for me yet... but still.  Adorable.

One day I will be tan like him.....it's scientific. The longer the couple is married the more they look like each other. There's hope for me

I'm pretty sure Jax put on the goggles just so he could be like Zoe...

This is my most favorite picture of the day.  I generally do not enjoy pictures of myself but Zoe looked way too cute to not take a picture with.  I said Zoe take a picture with me....."SMILE!"  I take the picture immediately look down at the camera and see that in the picture her eyes are closed!  So then I look over at Zoe and her eyes are still closed!  She then smiles and says "I was pretending to sleeeeeep Saydee!"  Best day of the summer thus far :)

Miss Baby Bee

After waiting at the hospital for 4.5 hours, lots of free juice and DP, The Voice, an impatiant Jordo, a wonderfully patient Jasee and a rough entrance....finally....FINALLY-- Miss Baby B was born
Welcome Miss Brinlee Chestrine Burrell :)

Isn't she beautiful??  Due to the rough entrance they had to take her into a room where only Jordo could go in and see her for an hour or so.....and Jordo was such a proud papa!  he kept asking everyone if they wanted him to go take more pictures of her...I kid you not he went in there atleast 6 times just to take pictures.  She is super beautiful and super fun.  I looove new babies.  I just wanna hold her all the time!!

Jordo looking like a dorko proud Papa
Happy Grandma Derba gives us her "Real Smile"
Beautiful Jasee :)

Welcome Brinlee Dear!  and Good job Jasee and Jord....you make some pretty dang cute babies...keep it up:)  We're sooo happy to finally add another girl to the Burrell Grandkids.... Zoey needs some help!

Bad Wife Card

So I have this thing.... I HATE.  (make that a double hate) ... Grocery shopping.  It is most definitely a quality I get from mi madre.  I just dislike it alot.  Jor-hay and I have been married 4 months (exactly July 2nd) and would you like to know how many times I've been grocery shopping??  FOUR.  That is a 4 times.  Tht is once a month if you need me to make that any more clear.  It's not like me and Jorgio starve....I make dinner on a regular basis! Alright.. so my husband won't say I'm a big fat liar....I've been good at cooking dinner regularly except for in the last two weeks.  I thought I could get away with an empty fridge......butt the actual emptiness of each and every shelf can't be hidden  (insert image of sad empty fridge...i'm too embarrassed to actually show you mine).....I do have condiments though!  5 bottles of Hines Ketchup in fact.  If we could count condiments as REAL food i'd have a great fridge....but the idea of that doesn't always sell =)

So now on a night when my Hubby leaves me to go and get his basketball on, I actually have an oppurtunity (blogspot needs a spellcheck) to get some grocery shopping, but i am GLUED to the couch, because there are dishes to be put away and Sex and The City (a show I know mi madre wouldn't approve of me watching, yet I can't find the clicker so it's staying on) is on the telly.

So.... I'll make it to the grocery store tomorrow.  Hopefully..... :)
